Mark and Debbie Obarka have been training birds for over 15 years. They currently produce and host “Happy Hookbills” Exotic Bird Show. The Obarkas are known throughout the industry not only for their quality shows, but also for their extremely healthy looking birds. The care and attention they use in training each bird is unmatched. Mark and Debbie are both seasoned professionals and have spent the last two summers delighting crowds with their bird show at Marineland in St. Augustine Florida. Each performance of Happy Hookbills combines education with entertainment as they present their patented unique behaviors uncommon to the bird show industry. These talented birds posses a wide range of behaviors featuring impressions of other animals, giving geography lessons (seeing is believing!!!), playing basketball, painting portraits of audience volunteers, the rollerblading “Rollerbills”, and playing a good old fashioned game of cards. In addition, the birds are kept on display between shows providing continuous entertainment. They are available for a lucrative souvenir photo concession between performances, thus providing a revenue sharing opportunity that can save $$$ for your park or event.
